When you shop online from a business in the EU, you have strong consumer rights under EU consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Directive (CRD). The CRD includes the right, in most cases, to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery.
From 1 January 2021, you no longer automatically have these rights when you buy online from a business based in the UK.
SGS Automotive (Scoobyworx) have chosen to still offer customers a 14 day return period on most items at our discretion . Any special orders which we cant return to our suppliers are exempt and cant be returned.
We want our customers to feel they can return something if they need to which is why we are going above and beyond what we are required to do by law, the only change is our shipping costs wont be refunded on any returns do to these been costs we cant recover either.

PLACING YOUR ORDER
By placing your order you have agreed to the terms below
1. Format of the Contract
1.1 These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by ScoobyWorx, (the Supplier).
1.2 No contract exists between you and the Supplier for the sale of any goods until the Supplier has received and accepted your order.
1.3 We do have the right to terminate the contract in the event that the goods are unavailable, incorrectly priced or cleared funds are not received.
1.4 The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below).
1.5 The Supplier may change these terms and conditions of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.
2. Description and price of the goods
2.1 The description and price of the goods you order will be as shown on the Supplier’s website at the time you place your order. (from time to time pricing errors can occur - you will be contacted if this is the case) (SEE 2.4)
2.2 All our prices include all applicable taxes
2.3 The goods are subject to availability. Items ordered will be shipped on the chosen method if in stock.If after acceptance of the order the Supplier discovers within 5 days that the goods will be unavailable for longer than 28 days we may terminate the contract and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. Although we may offer a refund at our discretion before the 28 day period
2.4 Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on the Supplier’s website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found within 14 days of accepting your order, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order. If the Supplier does not receive an order confirmation within 48h of informing you of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If you cancel the order, or if the order is cancelled automatically due to the expiry of the 48h period, the Supplier will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
3.1 Payment for the goods can be made by any method shown on the Supplier’s website at the time you place your order.
3.2 When your order with us is placed your credit card numbers are processed by paypal or similar payment gateway
3.3 There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received.
3.4 Caliper surcharges will be refunded within 28 days of us receiving the exchange set of calipers that you return to us. Although this is normally done within 28 days it can sometime take longer. The returned calipers have to be checked and confirmed they are in a condition that we can use them to put back into stock for reconditioning.
4.1 The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order.
4.2 Delivery charges depend on the size / weight of the goods you order. Delivery options which show £0.00 are only available for agreed orders and any other orders placed with these options will be cancelled or you will be advised of other delivery options at extra cost. You will be advised of the delivery charge before you place an order in the checkout. We reserve the right to send items by different methods than chosen and paid for. The reasons for this are insurance purposes for expensive items. If we do have to change method of delivery we stick as closely as possible to the timescale of the original choice. We may refund part amounts of postage under these circumstances at our discretion. Orders which are placed on a next day service will be dispatched on a next day service when available, if a product is out of stock then it will be dispatched on a next service as soon as it arrives back in stock. International customers are responsible for any customs charges incurred.
Anybody choosing standard delivery must be aware that the item will be sent via Royal Mail generally first class recorded and on this service we must allow 14 days for delivery to take place before we can class the item as lost. If you are in need of your order quickly we advise priority delivery as your chosen option as this will be sent via UPS next day service or Royal Mail Special Delivery both of which will arrive the following day from dispatch and can be fully tracked and replaced quickly if lost in transit.
4.3 Deliveries outside of the UK are available - you can contact us for a tailored shipping quote if one isn't shown.
4.4 If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons under the Supplier’s control the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible.
4.5 If you deliberately fail to take delivery of the goods (otherwise than by reason of circumstances under control of the Supplier) then without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to the Supplier, the Supplier may store the goods until actual delivery and charge you for reasonable costs (including insurance) of storage.
4.6 If you don't take delivery because you have cancelled your contract under the Distance Selling Regulations and the goods haven't been sent the Supplier shall refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. On exercising your right to cancel you shall be required to return the goods to the Supplier at your cost if they have been dispatched and your refund will be processed upon receipt of the goods in original packaging and condition back to us. Should you fail to return the goods, the Supplier reserves the right to deduct any direct costs incurred by the Supplier in retrieving the goods as a result of such failure. Refusing delivery will incur additional costs which will be deducted from any refund made.
Re Stocking Fee of 20% will be applied before any credit is returned on custom / special order items exempt from CCR.
4.6b On Special Order reconditioned calipers they are exempt from the CCR return due to the fact they are built and coated in a colour you as the customer chooses. These can be returned for a refund at our discretion but a 30% restocking fee will be applied. This is to cover our costs which include materials such as powder coat and postage costs incurred by us upon sending these.
4.6c Calipers returned to us must not have any damage to the casings, the bleed nipples must be removable and not snapped or over tightened so they snap when we remove them. All the threads must be in good condition. The casing cant have any damage or major gouges. Calipers also must not be heavily corroded to the point they lose there shape upon shot blasting.
(We have only had to reject 4 set of calipers in around 500 sets we have received) If we do have to reject your calipers then we will return them to you at our cost, this is to prove we really cant and wont use your rejected set of calipers.
4.6d For items returned under CCR the purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs for the items to be returned. You also are responsible for the goods until we have signed for them from the courier. Therefore we advise you to send them fully insured as any losses will be the buyers responsibility. With Goods not faulty and are been returned through a change of mind or circumstance original shipping costs incurred by us will be deducted from the refund. A Re-Stocking Fee of 20% may be applied before any credit is returned on custom / special order items exempt from CCR.
4.7 Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted usually in 1-3 days. The Supplier’s policy is to ensure delivery within seven clear working days of receipt of an order. However, the Supplier will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible. Many items are delivered within less than the seven working days. Items can take a maximum of 28 days for delivery depending upon stock and where they are sourced from. Some of our products are sourced from USA and Japan and obviously these may take a while to arrive. This will always be advised within 72h of order been received.
4.8 We generally have a number of discount codes running at all times, some of which are specific to certain items. That said we do have general discount codes which can be used with permission for special discounts. We reserve the right to decline any order which has be placed using a discount code which hasn't been authorised by ourselves. You will be notified of this through order update emails.
4.9 Purchases made using discount codes can only be returned with a 20% restocking fee.
5.0 We will in most cases accept return without any restocking fee this is unless the part been returned is non returnable by us to our distributors ie special order. If unsure check on our specific return policy for individual parts by emailing us.
Duties and Taxes
Destination countries have different import duty rates. Therefore it is impossible to catalogue all the possible duty rates that you, the customer may have to pay, when importing a part from the United Kingdom. You as the customer is responsible for these cost in full.
The receiver of the goods will be responsible for the payment of the destination duties. Note! All prices that have been displayed are in the UK currency format of GBP. The final invoice total is also shown in GBP as standard but can be changed to Euros and US DOLLERS. The current exchange rate is subject to daily change.
Any calipers sent to us for repair services may incur customs charges which you the customer is responsible for and caliper wont be returned until these are paid in full.
We are not responsible for any Duty charges or Tax charges
